Record card sales and understand the Nedbank partnership

Keep card sales in BOS.PAY while your card device handles the card transaction.

The card device and app have different jobs

Take the card payment on your separate terminal first. The Card device option in BOS.PAY records the approved sale alongside your other business records. Recording it is not a new card authorisation or confirmation from the bank.

  1. Review the terminal result and confirm the approved amount.
  2. Select Card device for the sale in BOS.PAY.
  3. Record the approved sale once and retain the terminal receipt/reference.

An approval is missing or uncertain

If the terminal declined, timed out or shows an uncertain outcome, check with the card-device provider before recording a successful sale or charging the customer again. Use the acquirer’s record to resolve whether the card transaction completed.

Tracking and reconciliation

BOS.PAY tracks the card sale you record in the app. Keep your terminal receipt separately for your own reconciliation. BOS.PAY does not process or verify the terminal transaction, and card takings do not become crypto funds in your receiving wallet. Ask BOS.PAY support about the app record; ask your card-device provider about the actual card payment or settlement.

Partnership with Nedbank

Explore the Nedbank partnership page for card device options and the lower-fee proposition for BOS.PAY app users. The separate calculator is an estimate, not approval or a confirmed quote. Device arrangements, applicable rates and card settlement should be confirmed through the partner process.
